The overall objective of the scheme was to create a design which provides staggering unimpeded views of the local landscape of DeSmit, North Dakota. In keeping with the brief, the central focus of the design is to provide a ramp that allows for disabled access directly to the top of the tower. This ramp forms the programmatic and structural heart of the scheme. The radial nature of the building ensures that it is modular and can be quickly constructed or disassembled after use.
